
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting Wednesday-Thursday at the TWRA Region II Ray Bell Office Building in Nashville.
Committee meetings will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, and the regular TWRC meeting will start at 9 a.m. Thursday.
The public is invited to attend.
Items on the agenda will include:
1. Establishment of the 2007-08 state waterfowl hunting season. A recommendation will be presented by TWRA to increase the bag limit of hen mallards for the 2007-08 hunting season due to increased hen mallard population the past three years and excellent breeding ground conditions.
2. Bill Reeves, TWRA Chief of Fish Management, will offer a preview of sport fishing regulations for 2008.
3. Don King, TWRA Chief of Information and Education, will offer an update on Tennessee’s Wild Side and the program’s increased availability through TWRA’s website.
