Just got a report from the Cabela’s King Kat Classic in Junction City, Kansas.

Oklahoma anglers Roger Long and Jack Chapman won the event with a two-day total weight of 109.45 pounds.

They were in second place the after Day 1 with five catfish that weighed 48.35 pounds - a catch that included a 32.55-pound kicker. They finished strong on Day 2 with five cats that weighed 61.1.

The three-person Illinois team of Joel, Megan and Dylan McWilliams placed second with 83.05 pounds. They had the biggest fish of the event with a 34.75-pound blue catfish.
