I just got a Day 1 update from the Cabela’s Crappie USA Classic on Kentucky and Barkley Lakes.

After Friday’s opening round of competition, Tennessee anglers John Woods and Tracey McIntosh lead the semi-pro division with 11.62 pounds. Randy Pope and Jerry Pruitt from North Carolina are second with 10.62, and Tim and Pam Ridley of Tennessee are third with 9.29 pounds.

In the Amateur Division, Dan Lester and Robert Renaud of Missouri are in first place with 8.63.

The final weigh-in will be held this afternoon. I’ll have another update to let you know who won.
