I sincerely hope this is a late-arriving crowd, or else tonight is going to be an embarrassment for the Memphis program. While the upper deck looks like it will be reasonably full by tip-off, the lower level is a joke right now. Sure, Siena isn’t Georgetown or Arizona, but you’d think this game would at least draw as much as Arkansas State.

Normally, I would never tell fans how to spend their money. I get a premium seat, free parking and a meal. But in this case, the tickets have already been bought. People just aren’t coming. Why? Because it’s cold outside? That’s pretty lame. Unless the lower level fills in a good bit, I imagine you’ll have a pretty ticked off coach tonight, and he won’t be afraid to call out the big money people who didn’t show up tonight.

Your prediction on the crowd was wrong! Sure we would have liked to fill up the Forum, but 16,800 is pretty good for a weeknight. I attend every game, but there is some people that will miss for any reason. Keep up the good reporting on the Tigers! What is your feeling on the recruitment of Tyreke Evans? Thanks!

Whenever a game starts, whatever it is, usually only about half the crowd is in their seats. We’re no different than anyone else. The crowd turned up pretty good. Besides Mr Dan, just concern yourself with game action and leave your editorializing and opinionating out of it. If I want that I’ll watch ‘News’ Channel 3.

Yo, Dan. Keep on Memphians to get out to these games and get out early. Can’t say that I wouldn’t take the Tiger games for granted if I lived in Memphis, but, living out of town, I am just thrilled when a game is on TV.

Can Jeff Robinson do what he did last night again? He was an absolute monster and you got the sense that he is going to be a bigtime force for this program in the next couple of years.

Hey Guys,
Even with a lousy team and plenty of CAT calls for Billy G’s head this year, Rupp is still filled to the rafters game in game out. Fans start partying in the adjacent Hyatt 4 hours before game time and they are lined up down the street(no matter how cold) to get in when the gates open. I hope Memphis wins the national championship this year and they should given the talent Calipari has assembled, but if they can’t fill the arena when they are the #2 team in the county and undefeated, I have to question the passion and commitment of their fans. How do you spell FAIR WEATHER???
