The struggle that was the UTEP game will only HELP the Tigers down the road. They made plays when they needed to make them in order to win. It is easy to lose when you play badly but winning when you play badly is a sign of a great, not good team.

I’ll give you the fact the we shoot FT’s poorly. But how many looked like they were going down only to rim out? It was frustrating to watch them shoot them today.

If anyone knows where I can get a pair of Memphis sweat pants, please let me know.

I tuned into the Duke-Miami game in time to hear him say (and I’m not kidding), “The big 3 of Kansas, Duke and UCLA are locks for the Final Four and the 4th slot is up for grabs.” In the list of teams he didn’t mention the Tigers. I love the disrespect. I absolutely LOVE it.

Starting Monday I will be addressing some of the questions regarding the On-Campus stadium. It appears that many people don’t know the truths involved and there is a lot of bad information out there. It will be a lot of information and will be done over several days. If you have any concerns about what is involved, please respond and I’ll find out whatever you want to know if I don’t know it.

And finally in the “A whole different set of standards” category, Ashley Fine Furniture. Ashley’s stores in Memphis is giving away furniture if the Tigers win the National Championship. In the Mississippi stores, they will give you your furniture is Mississippi wins the SEC tournament. I wonder which team they are worried about pulling it off the most? That let’s me know what folks think and expect of the Tigers and what they think of and expect of the Rebels. Then again, the Tigers have shorter odds of winning the NC than the Rebels have of winning the SEC tournament.

The Tigers were destined to have one bad game. Lucky for us that it happen at home. I don’t think they can play any worse. Glad they got this bad game out them before the Tennessee game.

But it just shows how talented this team is when you cannot hit anything, emotionally you are not into it and still win. UTEP was playing for their NCAA lives and still lost. I like Tony Barbee, but not when it comes to my Tigers. :~}}

UTEP will not have another game like that the remainder of the season nor next year. Hopefully, we want have another emotional letdown for the remainder of the season, but it is difficult to stay sharp when you are playing against much lessor teams who have nothing to lose.

In all fairness, Memphis needs to get into another league asap. Everybody else in this league is hanging their respective hat on beating Memphis to get into the Big Dance. Eventually, if the rest of the league do not improve quickly, they are going to pull Memphis back to the pack.

I hope Tryeke Evans commits to play for Memphis as well as Leslie McDonald. Now that would be a tandem, but lately these top Memphis players appear to want to play somewhere else. You have the number #1 Team in nation in your backyard and you go play for someone else. It leaves me scratching my head. :~}}

Well thats all for now. I love reading all the comments.
