During the upcoming Mid-South Sports & Boat Show, scheduled for Feb. 15-17 at Agricenter International, outdoorsmen will have a rare opportunity to create and battle their own severe weather conditions.
Gore-Tex, one of the nation’s most popular manufacturers of extreme weather gear, will be on site with its ultra-cool “Extreme Weather Chamber.”
Visitors will be allowed to use the chamber to literally create their own weather conditions, including wind, rain and cold. They’ll learn how to stay warm and dry while testing the latest gear from Gore-Tex.
The company will also be asking consumers to donate lightly used jackets, hats, gloves and footwear for those in need.
This is not your typical boat show stuff, folks. This actually sounds kind of cool.
