Assumptions in this bracket:
1) Kansas beats Texas in the Big 12 championship game
2) Arkansas beats Georgia in the SEC championship game
3) Wisconsin beats Illinois in the Big 10 championship game

If 2 or 3 doesn’t happen, throw this bracket out the window. If No. 1 doesn’t happen, simply switch Texas and Kansas. That flexibility is why I have assigned Memphis as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Regional, rather than in the South as most people believe. I think the winner of the Big 12 will be the No. 1 in Houston. If it’s Kansas, you’ve got a Big 12 team playing as the No. 1 in Big 12 country. If it’s Texas, you’ve got the Longhorns playing in Houston.

Kansas-Texas loser will be the 2 seed in the west. The committee isn’t going to send Georgetown west just because of last night’s loss. I would agree the Tigers may end up in the Midwest but only if Texas wins today. Otherwise, they’ll be the 1 seed in the South.

I’ve seen the brackets and I am in shock. Is Confernce USA even represented on the committee? I can’t believe the Longhorns lose and stay at home for regional in Houston. Texas wanted to be in our region because they knew they swept a two game series 2006-2007.

LMAO! I told you Arizona state wouldn’t get in. I should have taken your bet. Yea, you did get Arizona, but they did not deserve it.You said they were both locks. half and half. I guess I’m as good as you.

Kirk

BTW…Did ya’ put Tennessee ahead of us again this week after they lost ? I’m sure you did. If we are 33-1, and they are 1-33, they still get the nod if that 1 win is over us, right?
