Responses to “2009 Shelby-Metro football prospect list”

Where are the Millington prospects on your list?

Steve O'Dell

Harding’s Marlon Brown is the Best Player to come out of the Memphis Area. Hands down, he should be the Player of the Year. Not only is he a great football player, he is a great person. Good Luck Marlon!!!!

SUGE KNIGHT

You may want to re think your statement Steve O’ Dell. Gabriel Hunter rushed for 2600 yards. That makes him the best player available to come out. Also Mitchell High’s WR Keiwone Malone as a sopohmore last year had more catches, receiving yds, and tds than Brown. However Brown is a beast and I would not sit here and discredit him, he is a heck of an athlete. Hunter is the current best player in Memphis playing right now !

Tiger Joe

Hold up wait a minute. How does Andrew Franklin 6′0 LB from Mitchell makes Commercial Appeal Defensive Player of The Year last Year and name is nowhere on this list. Who compiled this list ?
Also where is Larry Fitzgerald 6′3 DB , Keiwone Malone 6′0 WR

Step

I don’t see on this list, Tausean Holmes out of Millington Central. He started for Millington last year & played with (2) running backs (Travis Simpson & Greg Knowles) who rush for over 1200 yards a piece last year & Tausean still gain over 700 yards last year. Now he will be the man for Millington this year & he should be on this list. If he isn’t I garanteed that he will be one of the tops running back in the area, if not the state behind Gabriel Hunter. Believe that
