Author Biographies

Scott Cacciola, 29, who covers Ole Miss football and SEC basketball for the Commercial Appeal, grew up in Vermont, where he shoveled snow and mooed at cows. He went to journalism school in New York City, where he learned to ride the subway. He worked in Connecticut, where he wrote about guys named Geno and Jim. Now he makes his home in Memphis, where he wonders how he survived without Gus’ World Famous Friend Chicken. Please be kind to him. He’s new around here.
